A New, Heavy-Duty Horizontal Machining CenterPR Machine Works has purchased a new Toyoda FH550SX Horizontal Machining Center to expand our heavy-duty machining capacity. This new CNC machine tool features a 2-pallet automatic pallet changer, 2,362-ipm rapid traverse, and a #50 taper, 40-hp, 6,000-rpm spindle with 443 ft-lbs of torque for heavy cutting on any material including castings and forgings. This high-tech, super-accurate, USA-built machine can accommodate ferrous and non-ferrous metal plates up to 72” wide x 120” long and up to 2.50” in thickness. PR Machine Works Returns to the TrackOnce again, Team PR is sponsoring the Autosport Development #21 GTO GT race car driven by Stu Hayner. “This is our fourth year as a sponsor,” says Mark Romanchuk, “and we wanted to do something special.” So the race team visited PR Machine Works the day before the race and we pulled out all the stops.
